Inland Revenue offices to remain open till 8pm as deadline to file tax returns ends today

LAHORE: The Federal Board of Revenue’s all Inland Revenue offices will remain open till 8 pm on the last date i.e December 5 for filing of the income tax returns, says a notification.

The FBR has issued notification to all chief commissioner of Inland Revenue in this regard. On the other hand, the date for filing the returns would not be extended any more, Customs Today learnt. Sources said that there is no chance regarding the extension of the date. Now, FBR will take actions against the non- filers as date had been extended repeatedly to give more time to the taxpayers.
