Declaration of assets mandatory for performance allowance: FBR

KARACHI: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is considering to launch a new mechanism for availing of performance allowance.

Additional Commissioner Regional Tax Office-III Mumtaz Nawaz told Customs Today that in the recent past FBR authorities issued directions to all of its collectorates and field formations to obtain asset details of their staff.

Now FBR authorities have decided that performance allowance which is equal to basic pay of an official will be given to those who will declare their asset details.
