NEW YORK: Computer manufacturers are still in the game, with laptops that are getting thinner and lighter, yet have a lot of functionality.
Dell has come out with the XPS 13, which starts at $800 and weighs less than 3 pounds. A high-powered chip means a long battery life and the touch screen has a full HD display.
The Lenovo Yoga is sort of a hybrid between a laptop and a tablet. It’s only about 8 inches and user can flip the keyboard into different positions.
But what’s really cool is a technology called AnyPen meaning user can actually write on the screen with an actual pen or pencil.
Acer has a new 17inch notebook that actually has a 3D camera, and the first 15.6inch Chromebook that weighs less than 5 pounds.
And don’t worry Apple fans. There’s been talk of a new 12 inch Retina MacBook Air that’s thinner than ever.
