LONDON: Dell launched its impressive XPS 13 notebook at the annual Consumers Electronics show 2015 in Las Vegas earlier this month, with a stunning edge to edge display and a variety of configurations to choose from.
The machine is already available in the US starting at $899.99 for the base model with the spec’d out model costing as much as $1,949.99.
For those of users in the UK waiting for the laptop, they will be able to order one directly from the Dell UK website, but there’s a catch here: only three configurations are available at the moment, all of which are Core i7 models with a touch screen. Dell also introduced non-touch variants of the laptop, but they are not yet listed for sale.
The versions being sold features a stunning 13.3-inch QHD display boasting a resolution of 3,200 by 1,800 pixels with a Core i7 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage.
As far as the pricing is concerned, it starts at a whopping £983 before VAT and shipping — adding those would raise the price to over £1,000 so it doesn’t come cheap. Dell says shipping for users ordering now will commence on January 28th so users should get it before the next month starts.
