COPENHAGEN: Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 2.32% or 6.00 points to trade at 265.00 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.27% or 0.46 points to end at 36.79 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.07% or 4.7 points to 443.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 1.14% or 4.1 points to trade at 354.9 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.11% or 2.6 points to end at 231.6 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 0.80% or 1.3 points to 161.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 37 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.31% or 0.15 to $47.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.16% or 0.08 to hit $50.64 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1248.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.8826, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4379.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 99.45.
