Deputy Collector Adjudication Saima issues four notices in smuggling cases

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Saima Ayaz has issued show cause notices to accused parties in four different cases.

Sources told Customs Today, that all these cases were submitted by Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO) of Mianwali and Sargodha. The smuggled items included Toyota Vitz car, LED TVs, Toyota Crown car, Toyota Corolla car were confiscated by the customs authorities under the customs laws. After making seizures report the information reports forwarded to the Faisalabad Customs Adjudication.

Deputy Collector Saima Ayaz issued one show cause notices to Khalid Mueed accused of smuggling Vitz car bearing registration no: AAL-335 (Quetta). Three show cause notices issued through Sargodha ASO to Asif Khan in LED TVs 40 pieces, another was issued to Nisar Ahmed in vehicle smuggling of Crown car no: LR-7028, and Muhammad Ejaz accused in Toyota Corolla bearing registration no: AAD-069 Quetta smuggling case.

Deputy Collector Saima Ayaz also directed the seizure officer to attend proceedings on scheduled date along with relevant record.
