MULTAN: The Customs Adjudication Multan has finalized the hearing of 15 seizure cases after the completion of their trials.
Deputy Collector Adjudication Farhat Ali has conducted the hearing in his Multan Customs Office.
The deputy collector decided the cases of smuggled generators, two vehicles, and three cases of imported whisky and miscellaneous goods. In most of the cases, the respondents were not interested in the pursuance of their seized items and they did not attend any hearing. All 15 decided cases were in the favor of the department and issued orders for confiscation of goods.
The Deputy Collector customs adjudication has adjourned the hearing of the remaining seizure cases for indefinite period.
