Deputy Collector Inamullah Wazir’s Customs JIAP recovers1kg cocaine worth Rs15m

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs team deputed at Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) recovered 1 kilograms of cocaine worth Rs15 million from a passenger.
Sources told after strict directions from Collector Irfan ur Rehman and Additional Collector Farah Farooq, Deputy Collector Inam Ullah Wazir, Superintendent Jamal Zia have enhanced vigilance on the incoming passengers. The customs team intercepted a passenger who was arrived from a Qatar Airways flight. During detailed search of his luggage customs team found 940 grams of cocaine which was tactfully hidden in his suitcase.
Due to sophisticated concealment, he evaded to be caught by Qatari authorities. Value of the seized cocaine is estimated to be Rs15 million.
Customs team after registering a case against the accused person started investigations.
