Deputy Collector Saima Ayyaz transferred to Adjudication

MULTAN: Deputy Collector Saima Ayyaz has been transferred to Collectorate of Customs Adjudication with immediate effect.

According to details, Deputy Collector Saima Ayyaz was working in the Customs Collectorate of Preventive Lahore and has been transferred to Collectorate of Customs Adjudication. Deputy Collector Farhat Ali has been promoted as Additional Collector from BS-18 to BS-19. Due to promotion of Deputy Collector Farhat Ali, post of Deputy Collector in the Collectorate of Customs Adjudication was vacant.

Deputy Collector Saima Ayyaz is one of the competent officers in the Customs who has already served almost two and half years in the Customs Adjudication Multan Office. There were almost 55 various seizure cases of worth Rs20.145 million are still pending in the Customs Adjudication Multan Office. Customs Adjudication is not issuing any further Show causes for the trial of their seizure cases due to unavailability of Deputy Collector in the Customs Adjudication.
