ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Nizamuddin, Deputy Superintendent, Model Customs Collectorate, Peshawar, has been suspended a period of three months.
The competent authority, exercising powers conferred under Rule 5(1) of the Government Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973, suspended the officer with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, an Inland Revenue Service of BS-17 presently posted as Assistant Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Lahore, has been granted 365-day leave preparatory to retirement (LPR) from March 15, 2015. According to the notification, after expiry of LPR, the officer will stand retired from Government Service on attaining the age of superannuation with effect from March 14, 2016.
