NEW YORK: Eidos Montreal head David Anfossi provided more insight about the delay in a statement posted on the official website of “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided”. From what we’ve seen of Deus Ex Mankind Divided so far it is safe to say that it is less “piss-coloured” as Jacques-Belletete put it. Maybe when the game finally releases next August we’ll see more of the colour scheme at work in the latest game. “I know that expectations are extremely high, and we not only want to meet those expectations, but exceed them”. The game once again places players in the role of Adam Jensen, the cybernetically-enhanced supercop protagonist from Human Revolution, who must simultaneously deal with intensifying public prejudice against cybernetics, a terrorist group who demands equality for cybernetic individuals, and the shadowy conspiracies that take place within his own organization. With the game’s delay, the developers asked the fans to be more patient while thanking them for their support to the Deus Ex franchise. He then apologized for the inconvenience, and stated that Eidos-Montreal is “determined to deliver the best game [they] can”. Delays are always disappointing, as commented by Stuff. Still, as Shigeru Miyamoto once said: “A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever”. “Deus Ex: Mankind Divided” fans will have to wait for six more months, according to PC Gamer. Mankind Divided was originally scheduled to launch on 23 February 2016, and should have been close to completion at this stage.
