WASHINGTON: Halifax developer Jim Spatz has been named to the board of the Halifax Port Authority. Sources say the appointment is for one year and was approved by federal cabinet this week.
No announcement has been made, but a search of the federal appointments database lists Spatz as Ottawa’s appointee to the board. No start date or expiry date is shown. Separately, Mark Adcock has been named director of marine operations for the port authority. He is a former project engineer.
