DG Customs Valuation arrives in Dubai to attend IT exhibition

KARACHI: Director General Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed arrived in Dubai to attend Information Technology exhibition.

According to the sources, the Director General Customs Valuation will attend different sessions the exhibitions and will also hold meeting with delegation of the different countries.

The aim to attend the exhibitions is to introduce WeBOC, the best software, made by the Pakistan Customs to international experts.

Without giving the name of the country the source informed that the Director General Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed will also be visiting one more foreign country with regards to the WeBOC software.

Pakistan Customs has decided to share the WeBOC software with the foreign countries but before sharing some changes and up-gradation is being done in it. On the directives of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), the Director General Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed is visiting foreign countries to conduct survey to see the market value and the need of the countries for the software like WeBOC.
