DG Customs Valuation re-determines customs values of perfumes, body sprays, deodorants

KARACHI: The Directorate General Customs Valuation has revised the customs values of perfumes, body sprays and deodorants.

The customs authorities issued fresh Valuation Ruling No. 866/2016 for determining the values of the said items.

According to the customs authorities, a number of review petitions were filled by importers through which they sought re-determination of the values of items. The Sindh High Court had also directed the authorities to revisit the valuation ruling if it was more than 90 days old.

According to the valuation ruling,  the values of perfumes, Eau De perfume, Eau De toilet, Eau De Cologne, body spray, personal deodorants, Rrll-on, Body Deo, and Deo Stick have been revised
