DG I&I Imtiaz Ahmad to inaugurate new check post on Sept. 16

ISLAMABAD: Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigations (I&I) established a new check post at Sadiqabad area.

Sources told Customs Today that Director General Intelligence and Investigations Imtiaz Ahmad Khan will inaugurate the newly established check post on 16th September alongwith Additional Director Headquarters Abdul Waheed Marwat and Deputy Director Khuldunul Haq. Sources said that Pakistan Tobacco Company also paid Rs7 million for the construction of newly established check post.

Deputy Director Khuldunul Haq while talking to Customs Today said that newly established check post will help a lot to curb smuggling attempts in the region. He said that competent staff will be recruited for the check post.

He said that Customs Intelligence and Investigation department is using all available resources to curb smuggling in the region.
