ISLAMABAD: Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigations Imtiaz Ali Khan visited Directorate General Customs Intelligence and Investigation Quetta.
Sources told Customs Today that during his visit Director Irfanur Rehman briefed hithe m on about different issues being faced by Customs Intelligence Quetta. Director Imtiaz Ali also presided over a meeting which discussed various measures to curb smuggling on Iran and Afghanisan borders.
He directed all departments concerned to take every possible measure to curb smuggling close to the border areas.
Director General Imtiaz Ali Khan also hailed the performance of Quetta Customs to seize huge quantity of Iranian diesel. He also assured participants of the meeting that necessary measures will taken regarding shortage of staff soon.
