Sources said that on the other hand, Customs Intelligence authorities will take part in the anti-smuggling operation on their own. Sources said that positive results are being witnessed as a result of this operation, but due to shortage of staff and other legal hurdles such as physical appearance of staff in the courts, the anti-smuggling operation the experienced some hiccups.

Sources said that first the FBR will resolve the issue of shortage of staff and then will start the anti-smuggling operation with full force and devotion.
