DERA GHAZI KHAN: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) DG Khan has impounded a non-customs paid foreign origin used Honda Civic car. The market value of the car is Rs 3 million.
Sources told that Additional Collector Ali Imam Gardezi received information regarding smuggling of the vehicle. After receiving the information Superintendent Hassan Muhammad constituted a raiding team comprising Inspector Abdul Samad, Muhammad Khalid, Mohsin Faiz and others to take stern action against smuggled vehicles.
The ASO staff intercepted a cut and weild Honda civic car bearing registration no: LRA-5097 model 2004 as per seat belt in light gray colour with fully automatic remote control under Section 157 of Customs Act 1969.
