DG Excise Ahmad Aziz Tarar suspends 18 officials on corruption charges

LAHORE: The Director Excise and Taxation Department has suspended 18 officials for poor performance and corruption complaints.

DG Excise and Taxation Department Ahmad Aziz Tarar suspended officials including 11 data entry operators and five clerks from Lahore motor branch.

These officials were suspended on corruption and mismanagement charges. They were involved in manipulation and tempering in token tax record.

Data entry operators suspended from Lahore include Adil, Muhammad Imran, Adeel Zaheer, Atif, Muhammad Adrees, Imran Aslam,  Khurram Aftab, Kiran Ayub, Muhammad Shahbaz, Muhammad Zahid and Muhammad Ali.

Data entry operator Adil Rafique who was working in Rawalpindi motor branch had also been suspended. Saif ullah Khan was working as data entry operator in Raheem Yar Khan. The DG also ordered to suspend five clerks from Motor branch Lahore including Abu Huraira, Faryad Gujjar, Muhammad Jamil , Muhammad Farooq and Rana Shabeer.
