KARACHI: Director General (DG) Customs Valuation Syed Tanveer Ahmed has revised the customs values of LED rechargeable lights and amended the Valuation Ruling No.943/2016 vides order-in-revision No.276/2016.
M/s Noman and Bros and others had approached the director general submitting the Valuation Ruling No. 943/2016 is issued without applying other methods provided under Section 25 of the customs act and against the prevailing practice of Valuation Directorate.
Keeping in view the submissions made by the importers, department reply and market inquiry conducted, Director General Syed Tanveer Ahmed predetermined the values of several goods
These values are, however, for reference/guidance only and final assessment may please be made after considering other factors which have bearing on the customs value.
