DG TDAP asks commerce, trade officers to focus on enhancing knowledge & skill

LAHORE: The probationer officers of commerce and trade group needs to focus on enhancing their knowledge and skills so that they are able to perform their responsibilities in an effective manner and can add to the socio-economic development of the country.

Mian Riaz Ahmed, Director General Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), stated this while addressing the probationary officers of 24th Specialised Training Programme on their visit to TDAP, Lahore here Monday.

The DG TDAP emphasised the importance of enhancing the exports of Pakistan for economic development of the country and highlighted the role of TDAP in facilitating the exporters in penetrating the foreign markets.

Earlier, the officers were given a detailed presentation on the role and mandate of TDAP to apprise the young officers of the functions and responsibilities of the organisation. They were intimated that TDAP participated in around 200 international exhibitions around the world and also held annual exhibition like Expo Pakistan and Wexnet. The probationary officers thanked TDAP for extending them kind hospitality.
