DG Transit Trade announces schedule for auction of confiscated goods

KARACHI: The Directorate General of Transit Trade has announced the auction schedule for the fiscal year 2014-15.

According to details, the authorities concerned of Directorate General of Transit Trade has announced to hold auction of different commodities from June 22, 2015 till the end of current fiscal year 2014-15 on daily basis.

The auctioned commodities are including electronics, crockery, sanitary, ladies fabric, auto-parts and others.

According to the auction schedule, the bidder(s) should deposit 25 percent of the total auctioned amount, 10 percent income tax along with Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) at the time of auction while, the bidder(s) should have to pay the remaining amount within the 7 days of the auction.

The auction schedule given by the Directorate General of Transit Trade on regular basis is an attempt to collect more revenue by the end of fiscal year2014-15.
