KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation issued the reference values for polycarbonate resin and different kinds of massager.
According to details, the Directorate General is populating Valuation Database Values for different items wherein it has been observed that declarations are of wide range and do not correctly reflect values of the items as traded in the international market.
During the scrutiny of previous clearance data, it was observed that Industrial polycarbonate resin falling under PCT heading 3907.4000 are being assessed at different values and certain transactions are on very low side. The Directorate General, after carefully examining the clearance data, also conducted market inquiries to verify the authenticity of declarations. Online prices were also obtained to corroborate the findings of the market surveys. Therefore the VDB values of Polycarbonate Resin are as polycarbonate resin China origin US$2.35 per kilogram, polycarbonate resin Taiwan origin US$3.06 per kilogram, polycarbonate resin Saudi Arabia origin US$2.10 per kilogram and polycarbonate resin Korea origin US$3.15 per kilogram
Meanwhile, the directorate general issued another Valuation Database is different kinds of massager.
The VDB values of Different kinds of Massager are as U-Divine 3D massage all origins US$16 per kilogram, massage chair (OSIM) all origins US$7.05 per kilogram and foot massager (OSIM) all origins US$18 per kilogram.
