KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation issued the reference values of feeding tube and Yankaure handle/tube.
According to details, the Directorate General initiated an exercise to develop database values for different items wherein it has been observed that declarations are wide range and do not correctly reflect values of the items as traded in the international market.
During the scrutiny of previous clearance data, it was been observed that feeding tube falling under PCT headings 9018.3990 are being assessed at different values and certain transactions are on very low side.
The Directorate General, after carefully examining the clearance data, also conducted market inquiries to verify the authenticity of declarations. Online prices were also obtained to corroborate the findings of the market surveys. The Directorate found that the customs values of feeding tube are as feeding tube China origin 0.06US$ per piece.
Meanwhile, the Directorate General issued valuation ruling of Yankaure handle/tube.
Reportedly, the Yankaure handle/tube falling under PCT headings 9018.9090 are being assessed at different values and certain transactions are on very low side.
This Directorate General found that the customs values of Yankaure handle/tube are as Yankaure handle/tube China origin 0.17US$ per piece.
These values are, however, for reference/guidance only and final assessment may please be made after considering other factors which have bearing on the customs value.
