DG Valuation Mukkaram Jah’s father-in-law passes away, Namaz-e-Janaza on 27th

LAHORE: Father-in-law of DG Valuation Mukkaram Jah Ansari passed away today after a prolonged illness. His ‘Namaz-e-Janaza’ will be offered after Asar prayers in Khalid Masjid, Cavalry Ground, Lahore Cantt on 27th March, 2019.

The entire staff and management of Customs Today expressed their deep sorrow over sad demise of Major Retired Shabbir Ahmad, father-in-law of DG Valuation Mr. Mukkaram Jah Ansari.

Major Retired Shabbir Ahmad who was not feeling well from last night and shifted to hospital for check-up where he could not survive and breathed his last at the age of 86.

He was conferred with Sitara-e-Shujaat from the government of Pakistan in recognition of his services during 1965 and 1971 wars. After retirement, he also served in Intelligence Bureau (IB).

His daughter Zeb Gul Shabbir, wife of DG Valuation Mukarram Jah Ansari, is also serving in Customs as Additional Collector.
