MULTAN: Director General Trade Organisations (DGTO) Waqar Ahmed Shah has foiled an attempt of some unscrupulous elements to put hurdles in the process of elections of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI)for 2018-19 and asked the election Commission as well as Secretary General of Multan Chamber to hold the MCCI elections according to Trade Organization rules and Trade Organization act 2013 as per schedule.

The DGTO has dismissed two petitions of Sheikh Muhammad Naeem and Faisal Saeed describing them invalid because both were not bona fide member of Multan Chamber thus they are not entitled to file any objections against election process of MCCI.
