KARACHI: Directorate-General of Training and Research (DGTR) in collaboration of Directorate-General of Customs Valuation will hold a one-day seminar on “Rationalization of Unit of Measurement (UoM) and Valuation thereon”. The seminar is being organized for customs officers and other stake holders at 9.30 a.m. Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Member Customs (Operations) Dr. Jawwad Awais Agha will be the chief guest on the occasion. Keeping in view, the importance of the seminar large number of customs agents will participate in the seminar as this will help them to understand new techniques. Sources told that this seminar will help customs agents to understand new methods of measurement and valuation.
