DGTR starts training of 24 newly-recruited Appraising/Valuation officers

ISLAMABAD: Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs), Islamabad has started training of 24 newly-recruited Appraising/Valuation officers of North Region.

Chief Collector North Tahira Sarwat Habib was the chief guest at the opening ceremony of the training session which would continue from April 3 to June 2.

Member (HRM) Rozi Khan Barki, DGTR Additional Director Neelofer Shahzad, Islamabad Collector Dr Arslan Subuctageen and Gilgit-Baltistan Collector Ali Raza were also present on the occasion.

Addressing on the occasion, Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib said that she and her team struggled a lot to generate new vacancies for appointment of appraising/valuation officers.

Collector Dr Arslan welcomed the newly-appraising/valuation officers and exhorted them to not compromise on dignity of the department. He maintained that the Customs Department needs the best officers.

Peshawar Collector Qurban Ali Khan also welcomed the newcomers and advised them to learn with full devotion so as to strengthen the Customs Department.

The Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs) Islamabad has started training of 24 newly recruited appraising/valuation officers of North Region out of 211 total appointments throughout the country. Most of the newly-appointed appraising officers are females.
