Director Intelligence Imtiaz to meet transporters to resolve their issues

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad has directed Director Customs Intelligence and Investigation Imtiaz Ahmad Khan to hold meeting with office-bearers of the United Goods Transporters Alliance and resolve their issues on priority basis.

Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR chairman instructed Director Imtiaz Ali Khan to make sure the implementation of accord which was signed between the FBR and transporters associations. It is necessary to mention here that a delegation of transporters called on Mohammad and complained him that the field formations are ignoring the directions of the FBR.

Sources said that transporters main issues are linked with Customs Intelligence so after taking personal interest in this case the FBR chairman directed Imtiaz Ahmad Khan to resolve the issues of transporters.
