Qureshi said that Regional Tax Offices (RTOs) of Inland Revenue (IR) should be added in the module as a stakeholder that will help the department to reconcile the revenue figures collected on the import of high speed diesel by customs and RTOs in wake of taxes.

He apprised that some newly added features will expedite the clearance process at the ports once after the elimination of the bugs.

The pre-testing was conducted to examine the loopholes in the module by the officials of the Multan Customs. The deficiencies observed during the test have been put forward to the technical department.
