Director Wasif Memon revises customs values of unbranded garments

KARACHI: Director Customs Valuation Dr Wasif Memon has revised the customs values of unbranded garments vide valuation ruling No. 825/2016.

Since the earlier values of unbranded garments were determined more than three years ago vide valuation ruling No.489/2012, a re-determination of these goods was deemed necessary to reflect the current price trend of these goods in the international market.

Accordingly, the customs values of men suit (2 piece coat & pants) of all types are fixed at $48/dozen; the customs values of blazer/coat of all types are fixed at $24.60/dozen; the customs values of gents/ladies trousers, dress pants, jeans and lowers of all types are fixed at $22.80/dozen;  the customs values of gents/ladies shirts and T-shirts of all types are fixed at $21.60/dozen;  the customs values of gents/ladies jackets/non-woolen sweaters of all types are fixed at $24.60/dozen; the customs values of ladies blouse/upper/top of all types are fixed at $12/dozen; the customs values of boys suit (2 piece coat & pants) of all types are fixed at $24/dozen; the customs values of boys/girls shirts/T-Shirts of all types are fixed at $10.50/dozen; the customs values of boys/girls formal dress pants/trousers/jeans of all types are fixed at $10.50/dozen.
