KARACHI: Customs Valuation Director Wasif Memon has re-determined the customs values of olive oil vide Valuation Ruling No.941/2016 under Section 25-A of the Customs Act, 1969.
The customs values of olive oil were earlier determined vide Valuation Ruling No. 288/2010 dated December 30, 2010. Numerous representations were received in the directorate to revise the values of olive oil keeping in view decreasing trends in the international market.
Therefore, the Directorate General of Customs Valuation initiated an exercise to revise the values of olive oil.
