Directorate of Transit Trade remains open on Saturday

KARACHI: Though the Directorate General Transit Trade observes two weekly holidays on Saturday and Sunday, it remained open on Saturday.

Director General Transit Trade Khawar Farid Maneka discussed important matters with his officials on Saturday. Mr Maneka was in meeting with Mr. Gul Rehman and a deputy director at his office Saturday. It may be mentioned that the FBR has transferred Gul Rehman, a BS-19 officer of the Pakistan Customs Service, who was serving as Director, (OPS) Directorate of Transit Trade, Quetta, with immediate effect vide a notification on December 11.

Mr. Gul Rehman would take the charge of Director, (OPS) Directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) in Karachi. The post was previously held by Mr. Pervez Esbhani who would assume the charge as Director, (OPS) Directorate of Transit Trade, Quetta.

The other staff of the DG TT’s office including the PA and the sepoys also attended office on Saturday.
