AMSTERDAM: Dixons Carphone is continuing to restructure following its recent merger, with the disposal of a Dutch telecoms business that swiftly follows the sale of a similar unit in Germany.
Dixons Carphone is selling off a majority 83 per cent stake in its German mobile retailer The Phone House Netherlands to the shareholders of Optie 1, a Dutch rival.
This comes just days after the UK group, formed from the merger of electricals chain Dixons and high street mobile retailer Carphone Warehouse, sold The Phone House Deutschland to Drillisch AG, a German telecoms company.
Dixons Carphone, however, will remain a minority shareholder in the Dutch telecoms company.
