KARACHI: The district municipal corporation (DMC), Korangi has approved the computerisation of all taxes system including road cutting tax.
The decision to this effect was taken in a DMC Korangi meeting, chaired by Chairman Syed Naiyyer Raza. The meeting also approved to bring changes in rates of different taxes.
Earlier, the road cutting taxes were received in accordance with the rules of 2003, which the meeting approved to review. Korangi Municipal Commissioner Ameer Bakhash Junejo, Director Councillor Irshad Ahmed Arain, Vice chairmen of all union councils and district councillor were also present.
