Dollar gains 09 paisa, closed at 139.27

ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of dollar in interbank was increased by 9 paisa and closed at Rs 139.27 against Rs 138.18, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported Friday.

However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the open market rate of dollar closed at Rs139.30.

The SBP reported that in interbank the price of euro increased by 05 paisa after which it was traded at Rs157.62 against Rs 157.57 on last day.

The price of Japanese yen remains unchanged with 1.24 while the decrease of 43 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 184.37 against Rs184.80.

Exchange rates of UAE dirham and Saudi riyal witness the increase of 02 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 37.91 and 37.13 against 37.89 and 37.11 respectively.
