Download and install WhatsApp Plus APK with voice calls

LONDON: WhatsApp Plus is one of the most popular applications that hail from outside the Play Store. To add to its woes, WhatsApp Plus was recently banned from use by the original WhatsApp, now owned by Facebook. Many people had been using the clone app even after Google removed it from the Play Store, however, since Facebook took over WhatsApp, things changed and this app was subsequently banned from use.

Despite the ban, WhatsApp Plus developers went ahead and rolled out a ban-free version which can be installed on any Android device without having to worry about being banned by the original WhatsApp. WhatsApp Plus will let you do things that the mother app will never let you do. You can freeze your last seen date, modify your last seen to a different date, hide last seen and blue ticks but still see those of your friends, hide the ‘typing’ indicator when typing a message, and many other things.

You can literally change the look of this application and make it completely personal, which is something that you cannot achieve with the original application. You can change the colors, themes, fonts and even the icon of the application.

Latest WhatsApp Plus update offers free WhatsApp voice calls

WhatsApp recently updated its Android version to include a voice calling feature. This service has yet to reach all users of this application on all mobile platforms, however, all Android users can make free voice calls without any problems. Users of iOS are in line for the next update and there are some who have already received the feature.

WhatsApp Plus users have in the past been unable to use the voice calling feature despite the fact that the code used for this application is almost the same as that used on WhatsApp. However, this problem does not exist anymore as developers of WhatsApp Plus have rolled out a new update that features WhatsApp Plus voice calling feature for all Android devices. In order to initiate a call, just tap on the call icon located next to a contact and you can start chatting with your friend over the phone.

Just like WhatsApp, this application makes use of internet connection to make these calls and as such, ensure you have a suitable connection or else you won’t enjoy good quality voice calls.

Downloading and installing WhatsApp Plus APK with voice calls

To get this app installed on your Android device, you must first check whether your device allows installation of apps from outside the Play Store. This can be found in Security or Application Settings. After this, visit the official WhatsApp Plus website and download the latest APK file. Locate the download folder on your device and tap on it to start installing.

If you were using the original WhatsApp on your phone, you will have to uninstall the app before installing the new WhatsApp Plus APK. However, ensure that you create a backup of your messages since you can carry on with your conversations from where you left in the original app, using the new app.

Update to the latest WhatsApp Plus now to enjoy free WhatsApp Plus voice calls to all users of WhatsApp.
