Dr. Zubair Yousafani laid to rest

ISLAMABAD: Director ITTMS Dr Zubair Yousfani who passed away on Wednesday after second massive heart attack was laid to rest in Islamabad graveyard.

A large number of employees from Federal Board of Revenue, Customs, Inland Revenue and other government departments along with people from different walks of life attended his funeral prayer, which was offered at H-11 graveyard after Nimaz-e-Isha.

The 55-year-old customs officer reportedly suffered a severe heart attack and passed away after reaching at PIMS hospital Islamabad on Wednesday around 5pm.

Zubair was a true professional officer and had a good command on International Customs and was a leading officer of Pakistan Customs.

Talking with Customs Today Ali Raza Hinjra PD ITTMS said that he is still in shock at his untimely demise. He quoted “May Allah shower His eternal blessings on the departed soul and give courage to his family to bear this irreparable loss”.

Collector Customs Collectorate Islamabad Zulfikar Ali Chaudhry said that Dr. Zubair’s death is a shocking news for colleagues, adding that Zubair was a big asset for Pakistan Customs he will remain in our hearts always.

Member Customs Zahid Kokhar, Chief Customs North Awais Agha, Collector MCC Islamabad Zulfikar Chaudhry, Collector Peshawar Saeed Khan Jadoon, Additional Director I&I Rawalpindi Shahid Jan, Chief Enforcement FBR Muhammad Saleem, ex-DG I&I Imtiaz Khan and many other officers of FBR and Customs attended the funeral.
