Dual SIM HTC Desire 820s with 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor, 5.5-inch HD screen for Rs 24,890 arrives

SYDNEY: HTC has launched new Smartphone, the dual SIM HTC Desire 820s. The MRP of the device is Rs 25,500, but it will be available at a market operating price of Rs 24,890.

The Smartphone has 5.5-inch HD screen, with 1.7 GHz Octa-Core processor from MediaTek. It features an 8 megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel rear snapper. It has 2GB RAM and 16GB memory space which can be expanded via memory card to 32GB. Both cameras support 1080p video recording.

The HTC Desire 820s dual SIM also features HTC’s signature Boom Sound front facing speaker. The HTC Desire 820s will launch in the colour Tuxedo Grey and features a two-tone unibody with colour trims around the camera, buttons and flash.

The HTC Desire 820s offers Cat 4 4G connectivity as well. It supports LTE TDD as well, which should make this a 4G enabled Smartphone for India.

It is fuelled by a 2600mAh Li-polymer battery and according to HTC it comes with 12.1 hours talk time and up to 560 hours standby time on 3G.

HTC Dot View case will also be available during the launch, which provides instant access to the phone without opening the cover. Users can answer calls and receive and dismiss notifications with a simple swipe using the case.
