Dual SIM Nokia 215 with SLAM technology, internet, Facebook access introduces for Rs2,149

DELHI: Microsoft Nokia 215 Dual SIM with access to the Internet and a replacement guarantee has been launched in India at Rs 2,149. The Internet access will include popular web content with Opera Mini Browser, Bing Search, MSN Weather and Twitter as well as Facebook in nine local languages.

The phone can also take photos and share them between devices using SLAM technology.

Raghuvesh Sarup, Director-Marketing, Nokia India Sales Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobiles Oy, said India is a ‘mobile-first’ market, and feature phones are the first port of access to internet for a large number of mobile users.

“Facebook is one of the first apps people use as they discover the internet. The Nokia 215 with Facebook and Messenger is a great device for first time internet users to stay connected with friends and family,” added Kevin D’souza, Head of Growth & Mobile Partnerships, and Facebook India.
