DUBAI: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently honored its 15 best exporters, distributing trophies and certificates for their accomplishments in areas that included export worth and number of market sectors. Dubai Chamber Chairman Majid Saif Al Ghurair presented each business with their respective honors at the Exporter of the Month event in the chamber offices.

“We believe that recognizing the hard work and effort demonstrated by outstanding companies is a motivator for Dubai Chamber members as well as the emirate’s business community,” Al Ghurair said. “Having such role models and exemplary members illustrates that Dubai’s business community is headed in the right direction.” Al Ghurair highlighted in particular the “Exporter of the Month” program – increasingly active since 2009 – which began as a quarterly program then increased in frequency due to its popularity.
