DUBAI: Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting with private sector representatives on the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Customs Union in association with the UAE Federal Customs Authority.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the meeting discussed major customs issues faced by the business community while dealing with other GCC customs, the Customs Union and the GCC Customs Authority. These issues include cross-border trading and land transport to neighbouring GCC countries and the unified customs laws, tariffs, and the single entry system.
