DUBAI: A woman carrying 4.5 kg cocaine in her underwear was arrested at Dubai International Airport. Police became suspicious of the woman as she was walking in a strange manner.
The 42-year-old woman from Zambia appeared tense and scared when called for search by one of the customs department official, according to police witness.
She had carried the drugs hidden in her corset, underwear and also between her thighs, making her walk strangely.
According the reports, she confessed to carrying the drugs but did not know what kind they were.
She carried the drugs from Brazil and was offered to pay $5000 to reach Zambia with it.
She admitted to smuggling drugs in the court and the verdict is expected on September 14.
