DUBAI: Dubai Customs continues to feature an outstanding participation at Dubai Government Achievements Exhibition (DGAE), as this year’s edition of the fair closes its second day.
Organized by Dubai Government Excellence Programme at Dubai World Trade Center for the 3rd consecutive year, the exhibition is particularly marked with ground-breaking projects presented by Dubai Customs, which remarkably grabbed the attention of visitors and the public. The core point of these innovative projects further streamlining customs processes is to support global legitimate trade facilitation and compliance while also enhancing security enforcement worldwide.
Dr. Ahmed Al Nuseirat, Coordinator General of DGEP, hailed the 10-project line-up displayed by Dubai Customs at the exhibition. “Dubai Customs’ stand is a landmark at this year’s DGAE. The innovative projects and initiatives being presented reflect an advance thinking and certainly add excellence to the exhibition,” said Al Nuseirat.
On his part, Director of Dubai Customs, Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, commended the excellent organization of the 3rd edition of the exhibition which brings together 32 government entities to showcase their innovations. “DGAE provides a fantastic platform for fair competition to keep the United Arab Emirates and Dubai in particular a global leader in the areas of innovation and public service delivery, in pursuance of UAE Vision 2021 and Dubai Plan 2021,” said Musabih.
He added that the innovations showcased by DC at the government fair are consistent with the drive to mark 2015 as the Year of Innovation and help achieve our vision to be “The leading customs administration in the world supporting legitimate trade.”
H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih praised the creativity of DC employees and stressed on DC senior management’s commitment to supporting innovative ideas generated internally.
