Dubai Customs Nominated for 6 Awards in Ideas UK and Ideas America 2017

DUBAI: Dubai Customs nominated its innovative services and products for renowned international awards for 2017. It qualified for 6 main categories that include the best innovation, the best safety and environment solution, best ambassador and communication director in Ideas America 2017, and best safety and environment solution in Ideas UK 2017.

Dubai Customs is participating in Ideas America and Ideas UK 2017 for the purpose of enticing innovation and encouraging employees work harder to come up with innovative new ideas to attain first place worldwide following the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Hussain Al Fardan, Dubai Customs’ Innovation Centre Senior Manager pointed out that introducing the experience of Dubai and the UAE in innovation is a priority. Al Fardan added: “Nomination for six prominent international awards is an achievement by itself. It proves how competent and well developed Dubai Customs is. This also reflects the big support that we receive from our leadership within a broad and wise vision to encourage employees to innovate in order to achieve the best development results and meet the government key performance indicators”. “These achievements are also the fruits of the great support that we receive from our higher management and the wise planning of staff of Innovation Center. We select the best ideas after evaluating and trying them before nominating them to compete for big awards”.  Ideas UK and Ideas America are non-profit organizations that help promote the best ideas and innovations worldwide.
