Dubai Customs showcases its corporate excellence experience to Dubai Municipality

DUBAI: Dubai Customs has received a delegation from Dubai Municipality, as part of a program to exchange expertise and enhance cooperation between Dubai government departments. The visitors were received by Ahmed Abdul Salam Kazim, Director of Strategy and Corporate Excellence and a number of directors and employees. The delegation included   representatives of Corporate Excellence and Strategy Management at Dubai Municipality and included Rafia Al Ghafli, Head of Excellence Programmes Section, Maitha Balshalat, Head of Corporate Organization Section, plus a number of managers and employees. The visit aimed to exchange expertise and knowledge and to learn about Dubai Customs’ latest practices.

Dubai Customs showcased its experience in developing its capacities to attain the best corporate excellence. This led to developing services to the best standard and providing clients with the best facilitations to help them get the added value for selecting Dubai their business destination.  The visitors also learnt about Dubai Customs’ strategy and the methodologies followed to develop performance and attain higher ranks.

The visitors applauded these efforts that catapulted Dubai Customs to higher places and helped it apply the latest world practices.  Ahmed Abdul Salam Kazim pointed out that Dubai Customs coordinates with different government departments to exchange expertise in order to advance government services and products following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Kazim said: “Dubai Customs is happy to share its experience in corporate excellence with all government strategic partner in support of our wise leadership’s vision and efforts. The transition into a knowledge based economy means we have to develop our offering even further and apply the latest smart applications in accordance with 10X initiative”.  “Dubai Customs obtained a number of global accolade in corporate excellence and came first on Happiness Meter, plus the global awards and accreditations such as ideasUK, and Ideas-America” he added.
