Dubai exempts customs duties on Singaporean products

SINGAPORE:Dubai Customs has implemented the GCC-Singapore Free Trade Agreement, which provides for the full exemption of customs duties for products of GCC origin and the exemption of preset lists of Singaporean products coming into the GCC from January.

The agreement was signed by governments of the GCC member states and Singapore on December 15, 2008, and was ratified by the UAE in the Federal Decree No. (115) of 2009. Dubai’s trade with Singapore mounted up to Dh9.2 billion in the first nine months of 2014.
