AMSTERDAM: Rising sales of meat, dairy, seafood and beverages can help Irish agri-food meet its target to near double exports from €10.8bn to €19bn by 2025, say Bord Bia executives.
Bord Bia and a record 27 Irish food exporters were in Paris yesterday for the launch of the biennial Salon International d’Alimentation (Sial), the biggest food fair in the world this year.
Irish numbers are up by a third, with post-Brexit market diversification a key theme among Irish food exporters. Some 160,000 food buyers and 7,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries are at the five-day Sial expo.
