Dy Commissioner Babar Chohan allowed to complete study in NZ

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Babar Chohan, a BS-18 officer of Inland Revenue, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Gujranwala, has been allowed to complete Master’s leading to PhD in Economics and Finance from Massey University, New Zealand with effect from April 03, 2016 to November 30, 2016.

The period of study abroad will be treated as deputation. According to the notification, the Federal Board of Revenue has no objection to proceeding abroad of the officer during his deputation period. However, the performance allowance (equivalent to 100 per cent of basic pay) admissible to the officer will remain discontinued during his deputation period, it added.
