ISLAMABAD: The competent authority of Federal Board of Revenue has reinstated Shafqat Rasool Sindhu, an Inland Revenue Service officer of BS-18, after being censured.
The officer, presently posted as Deputy Commissioner-IR, Regional Tax Office, Gujranwala, was placed under suspension vide Board’s Notification No. 0833-IR-II/2015 dated 03.04.2015. However, on finalisation of disciplinary proceedings, a minor penalty of ‘censure’ was imposed upon him by the Authorised Officer/Member (Admn), FBR.
